ARC Energy Services is pleased to announce that Bogdan Gaita, PhD, has rejoined the company in a newly created role of Rigging Subject Matter Expert. Bogdan has 18 years of experience on complex rigging and lifting projects at nuclear power plants throughout the United States.
In his new role, Bogdan will be engaged in the successful implementation of complex rigging projects ARC undertakes for its clients. This includes new and innovative approaches to the business, selection of equipment and/or subcontractors, and adherence to safety and quality requirements.

Bogdan earned his doctorate degree in 2021 from the University of Petrosani. He holds both a bachelor’s and Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering’s degree from “Politehnica” University of Timisoara in his native Romania.
Join Bogdan Gaita at the SCRA Crane & Rigging Workshop, Oct 3-5 in Dallas
At the 2022 Specialty Crane & Rigging Association’s Crane & Rigging Workshop, Oct 3-5 in Dallas, Bogdan will be speaking on 3D Modeling & Animation: Your Client’s Perspective. He will explore the advantages and cost savings of using 3D modeling and animation for heavy rigging projects, as well as smaller projects. Attendees will learn about new uses, including specialty machining and designs.
